I agree with all of you. Tauscher will be a big boost, though most likely not right away. Again, any upgrade is significant, since I feel like the Pack doesn't even have an NFL-worthy line. Once both Tauscher and Clifton are back as the bookends of this line, most will be right with the world.

Even if they use Tauch in certain packages (Heavy goal line as an eligible TE...) or just rotate him in with Barbre to keep him fresh, I don't think his impact will go unnoticed.

I guess the bottom line is signing him doesn't hurt so long as they use him the right way. I know I'm definitely more confident in him than Barbre.
