Why are they bringing in 2 running backs for tryouts when MM
doesn't even use the great ones he has and gives up on the running
game after the first quarter each week?

Maybe they think that running the football will help with the bad oline play.(my opinion only)Part of the reason McCarthy has given up on the run is Jackson is never healthy and Wynn isn't a very good back. This must mean that Jackson isn't going to be ready to go anytime soon. Grant as pretty much under performned too.

Not sure how reliable the packer update twitter page is, but they list one RB as working out today.

well i think it could be a good thing. Makes people play with some sense of urgency. Playing for their jobs etc etc Its obvious that the run is not working. So i dont blame them for trying out some other guys

they try out guys all the time - doesnt mean they are going to pick peeps up ... few weeks ago they tried out some QBs ...

Every Tuesday every team brings in new players. Some do it by position, some do by need, etc.

I wonder what happened to DeShawn Wynn this year. He looks fat and slow. Maybe they are thinking of dumping him when Brandon Jackson gets healthy so they can bring in someone else as the third-stringer.

They should have dumped him before the season began. Brandon Jackson too.
