Real Name (first only): Paul
Age: 30-something
Current City: San Francisco, California
Hometown: Hard to say. I used to say Martinez, California but that towns now overrun by meth freaks. Id probably say Chico, California now.
Occupation: Starving musician by night, Software Engineer by day

1) How did you choose your screen name?

Started as a joke. Then I realized the zombie plague is actually real and took it seriously. The government run media is lying to you, folks. You ever notice that when someone is shot continuously then finally shot in the head, the press always says gang murder?

2) Could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family?

I grew up all over the place. Lived mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area, but also lived in Texas, spent one summer in St. Louis, and four summers in Colorado. My family? Well, four boys total. My older brother speaks 7 languages fluently. My younger brothers - one tried out for Minor League baseball and ran with Carl Lewis and the youngest just graduated from UT.

3) Did you play in any sports or where you involved with any High School clubs and such?

Funny, I didnt play sports until after college. I was a skinny kid who liked the Packers and Heavy Metal music so just hung out with other Metalheads and watched the Packers on TV. Then around 24, I realized I had some skills and tried out for semi-pro football. Got both knees torn in the process. Should have stuck to Metal.

4) What is your fondest memory of your teenage years?

Completely censored. Sorry. I had a blast. Had more fun after college though.

5) What was your first job?

Door to door selling newspaper subscriptions. My first business was when I was about 16 or 17. I went door to door painting curbs. Made a lot of money for someone my age. I learned you can make a heck of a lot more doing our own thing than working for someone else.

6) What lead to your dedicated following of the Packers?

A complete fluke. I was born in Chicago and Dads a HUGE Bears fan. He went to UW though and made the mistake of introducing me to some of his friends. I saw the Green & Gold in a sports bar and fell in love. That was 1976. Never looked back.

7) Could you tell us one of your favorite memories of the Packers?

This is strange, but my fondest moments were actually when we werent that good. James Lofton was my favorite player ever and when we had Lofton, Jefferson, and Coffman all on the same team and Lynn Dickey was actually healthy (you think our OL is bad now, you must not have known about these years), that was fun to watch. Our D was horrendous, so our goal was simple - score lots of points. Probably the most magical moment of all was 1983 - beating the SB champs on MNF 48-47. No punts. That game was score after score. Funny thing, they had the best D in the NFL and they couldnt stop us.

I hate watching defensive games. I'd rather go to sleep. Unstoppable offenses are what make football fun to watch.

8 ) How did you find the PackersHome and what keeps you active on the site?

I came over from the site that should not be named. Lots of good people here. I love this site. Its really the people who keep me coming back.

9) What other sports teams do you follow?

There are other sports teams out there? Really? Just kidding. Ill follow my favorite Packers. Favre, Lofton, White, Green, etc. Thats it though. I did have a soft spot for Wallie Payton and cheered for him during their SB run. I could care less about any other sport and especially hate golf with a passion. Calling golf a sport is an example of creeping communism.

10) When youre not on PackersHome what could you likely be found doing with your spare time?

Listening to Metal, playing guitar. Im a bad boy. During the dot com days, used to ride around Los Angeles in limos and go from strip club to strip club. I've known several porn stars by their real names. My wife and I spent $500 on booze alone in a cruise.

Not any more. I learned to be responsible and now understand why football players go bankrupt shortly after they retire. During the dot com days, we thought the money would never stop. Thats when I learned that men in their 20s are usually stupid. We all did the same thing.

11) If you could have one moment being part of the Packer organization, what would it be?

It would be the 96 SB run. Favre that year eclipsed Lofton as my favorite player ever. The only thing is, I think the early 80s were more magical for me. Nothing against winning it all - it had everything to do with I was in Grad School and for once in my life, football wasnt the biggest thing on my mind. I fathered a little boy and was trying to make things worth with his mother. It all turned out good. We ended up getting married several years later.

But despite being busy, I still tried to make the sports bar to watch every Packers game. That one moment in the bar when the Patriots just scored and were 6 points away from tying, the Patriots fans all went nuts. Then Desmond Howard returned that KO for a TD. I swear to God, NOT ONE of them made a sound for the rest of the game. It was like shooting a zombie in the head with a shotgun. We all knew the game was over after that moment.

12) How many trips have you made to Lambeau?

Zero. I feel like an idiot now. I should have gone in the dot com days when I had money.

13) What is your worst fear?

I know this is generic and everyone else says it but it's true for me too - death of one of my family members. I can handle my own death. I can't handle any of theirs though.

14) What type of hobbies do you enjoy?

I'm starting to get to that age when I kind of have to work out or else. So I'm now a runner. I know. Lame. But I do it.

Still make music. Still go to see lots of shows in San Francisco every year. I follow a lot of small-time Metal and Goth/Industrial acts so can usually see most of my bands for under $20.

Love cooking. I take pride in being able to cook with pretty much anything. I go to the local Farmers' Market and buy random veggies. I don't even know what half of them are at first. I'll make it all taste good though. Never use a recipe either.

15) Whats your favorite food?

Ah, one of my favorite subjects. I love cooking and love even more to eat. Favorite cuisine though is a tie - Sushi or really good American steak.

16) Where are some of the places youve been, and where are some of your favorites.

The Caribbean, New Zealand, and yes, California. People who live here have no idea how gorgeous it is. What you need to do is go off-road with a high quality camera. Borrow one from a friend. Up and down the coast and even the interior, but I strongly prefer Northern California to SoCal.

17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime?

Shoot a rocket launcher at a tank. You asked.

18) If you could live anywhere where would it be?

Probably the Oregon coast. Almost as pretty as California but without the politics.

19) Name your favorite 5 Packers all time and explain the reason for one of them.

Brett Favre - 3 straight MVPs, helped bring us from the team old men would talk about in the past tense to a contender year after year. Young people have no idea how hard it was to be a Packers fan in the 70s and 80s. We were bad. So bad. I was stoked when we went 8-8.

Reggie White - Was Brett Favre on D

James Lofton - Had the most yards ever until a guy named Jerry Rice came along. Best deep threat to ever play the game.

Donald Driver - Great guy. Did you see that hug between Brett and Donald on MNF? That was the real deal, folks.

Aaron Rodgers & Charles Woodson - These guys are studs. Playmakers. Play to win. I love watching them both and wish the rest of the team would play with this fire (along with Driver).

20) Up to this date, what is you favorite PackersHome feature or memory?

Chats. We've had some interesting chats. I actually like it best when we go on about things other than football.

21) PM and post the next person to be interviewed.

Formo. I can't believe he hasn't been asked yet. Despite his allegiance, he's a great guy.

Great read.

Shooting a rocket launcher at a tank sounds like great fun. I'd need someone to keep me upright, though, lol.

It's a shame that you lost all that money you made on that dot com bubble. It was doomed to dry up eventually in hindsight. At least it sounded like great, irresponsible fun when it lasted. Lol.

Great choice on the next interviewee.

Zero2Cool (14-Feb) : Packers are hiring Luke Getsy as senior offensive assistant.
Martha Careful (12-Feb) : I would love to have them both, esp. Crosby, but either might be too expensive.
Zero2Cool (12-Feb) : Keisean Nixon is trying to get Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams lol
Mucky Tundra (11-Feb) : Yeah where did it go?
packerfanoutwest (11-Feb) : or did you resctrict access to that topic?
packerfanoutwest (11-Feb) : why did you remove the Playoff topic?
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Tua’s old DC won a Super Bowl Year 1 with Tua’s former backup
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : *winning MVP
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Funny observation I've heard: Carson Wentz was on the sideline for both Eagles Super Bowl wins w/guys supposed to be his back up winning
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : NFL thought it would get more attention week preceding Super Bowl.
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Yes, the Pro Bowl. It was played Sunday before Super Bowl from 2010-2022
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : pro bowl
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : From 2010 to 2022, it was played on the Sunday before the Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : They moved it to the BYE week before Super Bowl several years ago.
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : it was always after the SB.....
beast (10-Feb) : Though I stop following pro bowl years ago
beast (10-Feb) : I thought the pro game was before the Super Bowl?
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : ok now for the Pro Bowl Game in Hawaii
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : If I was Philly I would try to end it instead of punting it
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : VICTORY! We have (moral) victory!
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Hey they mentioned that we 3-peted
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : seems to me the 49ers should have traded Aiyuk when they had the chance
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : if the Eagles get it down to the 1, do they Tush Push or give it to Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : 49ers have a money problem if they want to sign their QB
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Wait for real? Didn't he just get an extension two years ago?
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (10-Feb) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (10-Feb) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : oh fuck me i messed that up
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (10-Feb) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (10-Feb) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (10-Feb) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
