I'd like to add a tad more... Packer fans were spoiled for 16 years so I think their perception of a good or great quarterback is a bit off much like it was for Steve Young who was one of the best players in the NFL in 1992 and 1993. He was picked apart by 49er fans and Joe Montana fans.
Now Rodgers is not even close to Steve Young and I'm not saying anyone on here is wrong about saying Rodgers is holding the ball too long as he is, but it's not like these sacks are coming between 4.5 and 6 seconds. They're coming between 3.1 and 4 seconds or the ones that some are putting on Rodgers are. Rodgers needs to adjust, but even if he does, it's not going to make a huge difference in the outcome of the game.
The problems with the line also run deeper than just protecting Rodgers. They can't run block either. If I'm making a checklist, Rodgers is behind the five offensive lineman, Mike McCarthy, and Ted Thompson on what is wrong with the offense right now.
That's my main point and there seems to be a 50/50 split on who is responsible for the most sacks. For every offensive line is bad post, there is a Rodgers post to go with it. The blame shouldn't be that close.
