Oh he'll be clean. The game is in a dome. How about unbloodied and unbruised?

My two concerns are the Vikings pass rush and Peterson. That is it.

I'm concerned with the Vikes' rush, Peterson, Harvin, and Favre. And Chester Taylor, because he always seems to do the real damage.

They may have allowed some sub-standard teams to keep things close, but thus far they look to be the class of our division - calling it like I see it.

BUT.

The Packers can beat them. They're not all-powerful. We'll just have to hope for all-out preparation this week and that they'll put it to use on the field Monday night.

One thing I fully expect, and I expect it early: a big TD throw from Favre. The mojo's just lining up that way, I feel it in my gut. As long as they weather that initial storm, though, I see them overcoming it and winning the game.

I think that the Vikings are the better team overall and coming from that amazing miracle win on sunday, all that energy and excitement will carry onto this next game. Some of the matchups to look for is the packers front 7 against Adrian Peterson, Packers Pass attack vs Vikings Secondary, and the Oline pass protection from both teams. I think favre and rodgers have what it takes to take march their group down the field, i give the edge to the packers for their passing but the running game will go to the Vikings. I think for the Packers to win this game, they have to play their A game, limit mistakes (penalties, turnovers) have a strong passing game, and stop adrian. For the Vikings, they will need to be able to stop the passing attack, and see if Favre and his receivers can beat the great packer secondary. I still think the Vikings will win this first meeting just because its at the metrodome, the vikings have a better momentum going in (3-0 and coming off that huge win), and brett favre may have a big day.

I actually think a team coming off of a game like that tends to be in line for a letdown the next week. It's teams that lose games like San Francisco did or Cincinnati in week one that tend to worry me.

Minnesota is the favorite and they should win. The pressure will be on them, but keep in mind, both games were close a year ago with either team having a chance to win and Childress is 1-5 vs. McCarthy.

Ok so I lied, they are pretty good, lol.

That Rams game, they looked awesome. Their defense did bend but did not break. Favre looks like he's comfortable with the receivers and AP has not even got it going yet.

But luckily they have a kryptonite - Chilly!

I missed the game because I was in Kansas City for a conference. But from what I hear from my uncle (biggest pessimist I know) is that the Vikings looked like they sucked. lol

I'm serious. Exact words that came from my uncles mouth. I couldn't believe it, actually.

Anyway, we'll see this coming few weeks when they face more challangers.. The Vikings only faced two real competitors so far this year (49ers and GB). I'm looking forward to seeing how they fare against Baltimore next Sunday..

but ya our seconday is much better then what SF has. IMO the best in the league.

I'm actually hoping farve starts throwing downfield more. I know woodson/harris/williams/jolly could use some more catches.

What is your point with this? That he didn't spell Favre correctly? That he said what most people thought, that if Vikings QB was to throw it downfield we'd get some picks? You fail to understand there was no pressure therefore his WR had all day to get open. There is no mother fucking secondary that can cover a WR for 7.3 seconds! There's no secondary that can run stride for stride with WR's for an entire game while the QB gets little to no pressure, especially a QB who's played in over 270 games!

Go to the Vikings board and boast. It's LIONS week here, move the hell on!

PS, Bring this back up during Vikings week! lol

I mean, how many different ways can you really say "The Pack is gonna trounce the Lions". We all know it's gonna happen. We all know this will be a 25 point blow out.

I must be allowed to profess my "Vikings QB" love all over the internet!!!!
