Anthony Smith being cut really makes no sense now. Rouse wasn't that old, surely they could've coached him up?

With that said, Rouse was a 3rd round pick in '07 and Thompson still cut him. That kind of adds to the ammo that he doesn't care where or when a player was drafted. No results, gone. Now only if he could use that same theory with the freaking OL!

I wonder if this is more something related to injury. He has had lots of problem with his shoulder if I remember right. And again Sunday he hurt it.

Strange Days Indeed....We give up 10 sacks in two games...lose a fifth round draft pick from the o-line...and we cut Rouse to sign Giordano at saftey....What the hell is going on around here???

The move makes perfect sense.

Bush probably is the better special teams player. And given our OL and S problems, we're going to need special teams play more than ever.
