Giordano played with quarterback Aaron Rodgers for two seasons at the University of California and said he sees some subtle differences in his former college teammate.
Believe it or not, his arm has gotten stronger, Giordano said. Its almost that effortless way he throws the ball sometimes, and yet it goes really fast and really far. Arm strength is one thing, but you know what? Hes taken it upon himself to be a leader of this team and of the offense. Thats good to see.
Giordano intercepted Rodgers twice in team drills Wednesday, his first day of practice with the Packers.
I thanked him for that and he told me to be quiet, Giordano said. So I dont think he intended that.
