O-line didn't suck.

They would have to IMPROVE to get as high as "suck".

Clifton sucks. You can bank on one false start/game anyway, and gave up 1-2 sacks to Odom when he was in.

Cheesy-thanks for adding humor to our day, although to be honest, there's more truth to that than humor

Time to start max protecting. Can't go 3 and 4 wide anymore, or Aaron will get killed.

I'm not being an A.R. apologist but he no time all game long. At least Barbre didn't humiliate himself again...but collidge did a more than adequate job of stepping up and embarassing the team!

AR hasn't had ANY time this season. He's getting hit every play. No time for a play to even develope.
And when you have NO running game, your dead in the water. The D just pins it's ears back and kills your QB.

Chad Clifton going down. This feels like deja vu all over again. I will be reserved in my commentary, as so many are idolize rs / not too terribly smart.

Chad was a border-line liability at his best this year. Get over it.

Don't wonder about the failures of this team. It starts on the lines. I cannot play Madden for all you big-thinkers, I can only tell you what I know.

You could see the fact that run sets up pass today. Cedric Benson at first ran all over us. We started crowding up the box. They run the first two downs. Then complete the first down with a pass. We had no defense against the pass, with all our guys in the box.

+1 for this. Dfosterf and I may be the only two individuals in Packer Nation who believe this, but it doesn't make it any less true, in my NOT so humble opinion.

And as for Mark Tauscher . . . :pukeleft: If you guys get a taste of the medicine you so desperately crave (which you won't, but still . . .), I will be share many private guffaws at your expense.

Schizophrenic?

Anyway, I don't agree. Maybe in the rushing game, I could agree with that, but he could handle REs quite well. Even this game I thought that he did quite a decent job. He's obviously declining with age, but he still makes great decisions. Just look at him manhandling Allen in that first game last year. The time that he got through, Clifton held him, not giving up the huge sack.

Besides that, what options do we have? Throw Meredith in there and hope it'll go the same way as it did with Tauscher and Clifton? I don't want to sound like a Ted Thompson basher, but even I've learned that he's not going to bring in the veteran here, as much as I want him to. I'm afraid that we're stuck with this young group, right now.

Lets just hope that Clifton's sprain isn't too bad.
