I think the licensing to use team names, nfl logo's and things of that nature is where the hefty price tags come in with authentic jerseys. With the China made jerseys, I don't believe they are governed by our laws.

Like I said, I bet that they have to make quite some expenses, but it's unrealistic to think that your average Joe will buy jerseys for hundreds of dollars... or go with inferior jerseys which the numbers will fall off of after 2 weeks.

Don't get me wrong, the NFL obviously deserves the money made from their jerseys, but these prices are just so out of whack with the average income. Same goes for tickets, but that's a whole different story.

Everything should be based off a percentile of your annual income.

Want a candy bar?
Cost of Candy Bar? 0.0015% of your annual income.

Annual Income = $22,000, candy bar costs you = $0.33
Annual Income = $40,000, candy bar costs you = $0.60
Annual Pay = $10,000,000.00, candy bar costs you = $150.00

And it's just automatically deducted. I mean, why should high end execs and NFL Players be able to buy a Lamborghini Diablo SV and not us?

We work just as hard as they do. Hell, probably put more hours in a week than they do.

Price's should be relevant to how much you want to dispense from your own income, not the level of income you have. 🙂

Why do I sense you hit the lever marked Barak?

j/k

Not to get overly anal on the subject (well, maybe) but we are taking money out of the hands of the Green Bay Packers when we circumnavigate "official" purchases. This is a significant revenue stream for our team, especially comparative to some "big market" teams. Am I gonna lose any sleep over that? Heck NO! They can raise the ticket prices, I don't mind!

I don't know how much they get (the team) but when they are discussing things like lost revenue from the pro shop in the annual report, it isn't chump change.

I only bring this up as sort of a semi-guilty feeling that I got over before I even started typing kinda thing.

I'd love for the money to go to the Packers instead of China.

However, I can't afford 400 for two jerseys. I can afford 60 though.

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : what's 118 (besides a number)?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : They got 118 slapped in there.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : that's why it confused the hell out of me
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, but this is taking a headline and slapping it into the Packers Talk
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Wasnt there a time guests could post in the help forum?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : lol good question, kind of impressed!
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : So how is a guest posting?
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Tell them its an emergency
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Working. Meetings.
