Normally I'd say yes, but the depth behind Spitz at center is frightening so I'd keep him just in case.

First off I don't like the Lang backing up C idea. The Packers have 3 C on the roster. Spitz, Wells and Dietrich-Smith. Dietrich-Smith is listed at RG but that's just to get everyone on the 2nd team. Dietrich-Smith's best position is C.

I picked trade for draft pick.... but it really depends on what someone is willing to offer. I'm thinking 5th round draft pick is too low... I'm wanting like a 3rd... but I'm not sure someone would offer that.... then again the Patriots just got what could be a top 10 draft pick...

But I have no problem keeping him ether.

I say no, keeping wells on the team provides a situation where if one starter goes out on the oline, wells can pop in at center, spitz can move over(or be replaced by wells if it is spitz that is hurt). Pretty much an injury to a player on the oline can be covered up by wells popping in and re-shuffling the line, keeping starting-caliber players in there.

Colledge popping to RT/LT, spits moving to guard, etc. Its a situation where they have 6 starts on the oline, and its a great situation to have, as i dont remember the last season where the same 5 guys played the 16 games together.

Unless you can get a player this year then don't trade him especially not for a draft pick that you could get in the off-season.

Wells is the key to the Oline in case of injury substitutions. They have Dietrich-Smith, but I'm just not sold on that guy. If he can play, then I guess I'd consider it, but it would have to be a hell of an offer.

Its all about value when you talk about trades. If some team offers teddy all of there picks for our first rounder, you better belive they will take it. If some team offers up a 3rd for wells hes gone. Hes on the team, has started in the past knows the system why trade a player like that unless some team overpays. Having to much depth has never been a bad thing
edit: Unless it Qb's!

Not this year. Wells is #2 at center, and even though not listed on the depth chart. Spitz is #2 at RG. So there are two ways that we would need Wells, either Spitz gets injured or Sitton does. Either would require Wells. Another year to let Deitrich-Smith develop and maybe we could do without Wells. As of now we still need him just incase.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I voted yes; if we can get a good DE for him I say yes.
I dont want to be like last year and have one of our main DEs get injured and then our line suffers. I dont think montgomery or wynn are big enough yet to fill the role of a solid DE in our 3-4.
