I'm still not understanding why the Bills cut Rhodes with Lynch suspended the first 3 games. Guess they have a lot of confidence in Jackson to carry the load those 3 games.

The Jaguars release T Tony Pashos. He would not agree to a paycut and they where unable to trade him.

Zach Thomas didn't make the Chiefs final roster. Same goes for safety Bernard Pollard (The guy that hit Brady last year). I thought that he was a pretty promising player. We're pretty high on the waiver wire. Maybe we're eyeballing him?

Foster's hero QB Colt Brennan going on IR. Chase Daniel, undrafted rookie QB out of Missouri, was cut at the same time. Sure would make a nice 3rd string you could groom. I asume that they're trying to sneak him onto the PS, though.

Not a great player, but noteable nontheless. David Tyree was cut by the Giants. The receiver that made the ball-to-the-head catch in the SB.

A.J. Trapasso has been cut by the Titans. Hard to pass Hentrich on the depth chart. Pretty decent punter.

I'd file this as a cut down surprise, as I'm sure this had to do with roster trimming and we have had some discussions on this guy.

The Buccaneers have traded Luke McCown to the Jaguars for a late round pick in 2010.
