Blanchard getting cut was the most "surprising" of the cuts albeit mainly for the reason Tolzien might not be cleared to play and Rodgers probably doesn't play more than a series or two at most which means plenty of snaps for Hundley if Tolzien can't go. Looks like the Packers have their QB pecking order and the chances of keeping 3 QBs is pretty likely now.

Hoping we'll get to see Abberdaris at least a little bit against the Saints. I think at worst he gets a spot on the practice squad after final cut downs to 53.

The big surprise to me was Hubbard, who I had making the final 53 and who looked good, I thought, in the preseason games. It could bite us in the ass if he ends up on some team we play.

As for Blanchard, I'm still not clear on whether he is eligible for the practice squad. I wish we could keep him there.

It's about time for me to do my prediction of the 53 man roster.
