No way that Underwood sticks on the PS... IMO.. that kid has flashes of a solid cover corner through preseason games.. hopefully people keep their fingers out of his damn eyes.

Rouse has talent.. but he doesn't seem to do well in space.. ie.. zone.. too small for backer... maybe a blitzing safety but if you want.. tuck him on IR for the season and work with him on his coverage skills.

Brohm won't get cut. I'd be shocked to see the Packers give up on him this early.

I'm with pack on Underwood. I think he's really showing something. They have to find room for him on the team IMO.

Rouse is a tough call. He could get the boot although I still like him as a player. I think he's going to be a starter someday, but I'm not sure he fits this system very well.

I agree with you guys... I honestly don't see Brohm going anywhere... I mean why would the Packers go out and get a vet for the #3 QB? That's silly to do and I don't know of any young guys that the Packers could grab and beat out Brohm so I think the Packers are gonna stick with Brohm at least until next offseason and I think he'll get a year after that too. Remember the kid is only in his 2nd year... Rodgers didn't look too good his 2nd year, Harris looked bad his 2nd year and became a pro-bowler, some people wanted to cut Collins not to long ago (silly people) and he became a probowler, Driver took what four years to get up to speed? I'm not saying he's gonna get close to those guys but you got to give young guys time....

I'm not sure how don't they keep Underwood. He's shown enough for me to use a DL, LB, S, TE or WR position to keep him because he's better than the depth or any of those positions. Also I like the idea of moving Blackmon or Underwood to FS because no body has stepped up to be the 4th S.

As far as Rouse he has the tools other than his very tight hips.... but he plays dumb.... I want to keep him another year wearing it's by IR or him at the 4th S (if they don't move Blackmon or Underwood which they probably won't) just to see if the new coaches can get into his head and teach him to play smart.

Also I agree with the roster from Packer Report.... my one big change would be cut RB Wynn and keep CB Underwood.

Who would you like to see as back RB's behind Ryan Grant?

Brandon Jackson and Tyrell Sutton.

I think we will keep 4 though, so Jackson, Wynn, and Sutton.

I hope we keep Wynn. The guy's a brusier!

During OTAs and the early part of TC I was positive BJax and Wynn would be locks behind Grant.

But Sutton is now uncuttable and provides something different for us, so I say we keep 4 HBs and try to slip Lumpkin onto the practice squad.

I think the toughest cuts come at linebacker.

Poppinga seems to be sticking around as the starter at ROLB.

It seems Brad Jones, Obiozor, Spencer Havner and Danny Lansanah are fighting for the last spot. And I'm not sure the guys that lose out will clear waivers.

Locks:

ILBs:
Hawk
Barnett
Bishop
Chillar

OLBs
Kampman
Poppinga
Matthews
Thompson

Bubble:
Brad Jones - done great in camp this week despite missing time.
Lansanah - We cut Tracy White for him last year, Parcells wanted him from our PS.
Obiozor - Was in demand as an UFA, Coach Greene seems to like him.
Havner - Can play TE, LB and is a Special Teams starter.

Contingent on the extent of his injury, I think Jackson may have written his walking papers tonight.

I doubt that very much. I think that he was nearly a lock to begin with and isn't going anywhere.

I think that he's the more reliable back-up and pass catcher. He might've had some problems with injuries, but not as much as Wynn and Lumpkin. If Sutton doesn't impress in the regular season, they can always go back to Jackson, with Grant obviously being the featured back.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out. Since 2007, he's only played in 24 games, starting 3. A lot of those missed games were due to injury. Of course, he's played more games than our other backups, so you're probably right.

Zero2Cool (2m) : I think the revenue share is moot, isn't it? That's the CBA an Salary Cap handling that.
bboystyle (14m) : i mean game becomes irrelevant if we win tonight. Just a game where we are trying to play spoilers to Vikings chance at the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (23m) : beast, I would guess ad revenue from more eyes watching tv
Zero2Cool (44m) : I would think it would hurt the home team because people would have to cancel last minute maybe? i dunno
beast (52m) : I agree that it's BS for fans planning on going to the game. But how does it bring in more money? I'm guessing indirectly?
packerfanoutwest (1h) : bs on flexing the game....they do it for the $$league$$, not the hometown fans
Zero2Cool (1h) : I see what you did there Mucky
Zero2Cool (1h) : dammit. 3:25pm
Zero2Cool (1h) : Packers Vikings flexed to 3:35pm
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Upon receiving the news about Luke Musgrave, I immediately fell to the ground
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (2h) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (3h) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (3h) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (4h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (4h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (4h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (4h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (4h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (4h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (4h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (4h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (4h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (4h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (4h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (4h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (4h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (4h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (5h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (5h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (5h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (5h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (5h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (5h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (5h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (5h) : Packers will get in
beast (5h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (5h) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (5h) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (7h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (8h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (8h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (8h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (9h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (18h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (18h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (22h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
