It hasn't changed for me.
I said awhile back in another thread that Capers has the best defensive backfield has had to work with over any team he has come to.
With the pass rush his packages produce they will be cherry picking out there.
What the forecasters don't or can't predict is the number of players on any given team have that are now ready to contribute more than they had in the past. We have several in guys like Sitton, Bishop, Finley, Jones, Nelson, Barbre, etc., that can elevate the team to a higher level than last year.
You add Arod in there who is a better football player than he was a year ago. These are the dynamics happening within a team that forecasters don't dive into deep enough and why teams "surprise' the experts every year.
They want to focus on the exotic FA acquisitions and the high profile offensive rookies because the audience will listen to that along with being a little lazy in digging into teams and who might just be coming into their own and help make their teams better.
Teams that build from within and bring their young players along are boring to talk about but dang fun to watch when they kick teams butt.
PS. Please don't anybody tell Bishop there is actually an offensive player designated to block him when he rushes the QB, or, that he is not a DB in a LB'rs body when he drops back.
Geez that guy is a good football player. He ought to send McCarthy flowers every week for bringing Capers in here.
