Here is something about brohm from wednesdays practice
THUMBS DOWN
It was painful to watch third-string QB Brian Brohm. He received all the repetitions with the No. 2s because backup Matt Flynn was out with a shoulder injury and he did nothing to take advantage of the opportunity. Whether he was playing with the No. 2 offense or serving as the scout team quarterback, he was off the mark all day. In all, he threw five interceptions and could have been intercepted at least two other times. It's not a heinous crime to throw an interception when playing for the scout team, but even in those situations the quarterbacks are encouraged to challenge the defense and play efficiently. It wasn't just the interceptions, either. In short yardage, he overthrew the 6-foot-6 Moore in the end zone twice, once missing a wide-open target in the middle of the field and the other time misfiring on a fade route into the corner. His performance was bad enough that coach Mike McCarthy made note of it in his post-practice news conference. "He's had some decisions I'm sure he wished he could have back," McCarthy said. "I think that's obvious as you watch practice, but these reps are so valuable for a young quarterback, and that's what he needs. He needs to go out there and have some success Friday (against Arizona)."
I guess we will see what he does tonight. Maybe Brohm will turn it around but it isn't going to be this year and probably won't be in Green Bay. I don't think Brohm has shown any signs of being decent since the day we got him. So yeah that does mean he SUCKS(on an NFL level) as of right now. Really it doesn't matter much because Brohm will be 3rd string if anything and probably won't be on the field for us this season. I also read that Brohm couldn't serperate Tony Moll and Cyril Obiozor from their scuffle but in fairness i guess it did take several players to seperate them, not that it has anything to do with brohms qb ability lol.
