The important thing with this preseason, when it's been ones vs. ones, we've pretty much dominated on both sides of the ball. Even if the Bills or Browns aren't exactly up to par, good teams dominate mediocre and less teams which is what we've done the last two weeks. The 21 points we gave up to the Bills were pretty much with the second and third stringers.
I'm not overly concerned about ILB because we've got 3 good guys in Hawk, Chillar, and Bishop who can man it well enough until Barnett can get back to full strength.
My bigger concern is still with the guys at OLB. Kampman has been doing well in his transition, but I don't think either the Bills or Browns really did much to challenge him in coverage and the Cardinals TEs don't exactly put the fear of god in most NFC linebacking corps either. Poppinga has been doing an adequate job at LOLB, but I'm really hoping we will finally be able to get at least Matthews and/or Thompson out on the practice field this week so the "penciled in" guys at ROLB will finally get some much needed work since there are only two presason games left.
