Leave it to Jerry Jones to somehow get involved in the game on the field. The NFL should tell him to stay in his box seats during the game and not have the worlds biggest screen sitting in the middle of the field. As zero2cool said its just not acceptable to have an obstacle on the playing field.

If I'm a dallas fan I'm telling Jerry Jones that if i wanted to watch the game on TV I just would have stayed home.

And now that a punter hit it (probably was TRYING to), people are throwing Jones under the bus (because of a preconceived notion that Jones is an attention whore, etc, etc) instead of thinking about the fact that maybe.. just maybe.. the NFL is the party at fault here.

Heard U2 will pay to raise screen for their up coming concert there..

If there is no rule regulating how low/high an obstruction above the field can be... Then Jerry Jones is MORE in the right. Again.. The NFL has to review stadium plans, do they not? Obviously that screen was on said plans. NFL let it fly, Jones built his cathedral.

There is a rule, it's 85 feet and the rule was established in I believe the 40's or 50's. The bottom most part of the structure is 88 feet. By rule, it's safe. But the rule, again, is outdated and punters are kicking the ball higher these days than they were a few decades ago. I think if anyone hits it in the regular season, it needs to be moved.

Either way, I think the video thing is freaking sweet!
