Remember last game where Vikings QB said 'their qb played well'. Couldn't say his name huh? (it should be noted that Rodgers and he did embrace shortly before those words were spoken)

Ive heard boos in that stadium before, said Favre, the longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback who will return to Lambeau Field on Sunday as a Minnesota Viking.

He says his 16 years at GB, no one can take away from him. To me, it sounds like he's trying to block it out. Why not say Lambeau Field? Alzheimers kicking in?

Don't know how much you can read into that, but it is slightly odd that he keeps refering to Rodgers as 'their QB'.

I found it odd that he said something like 'There where always people who where Brett haters. They can boo if they want. They've always been there'. Like he doesn't see the difference between him coming in as a Viking or a Packer.

I don't think there's much to it. It just seems odd that he acts like we're nothing now. I mean, stadium?

The way he acted Oct 5th, bugged me. Not his play.

I just love how the "Vikings QB" section is gone but every single nfl discussion thread is about "Vikings QB" anyway.

That section's creation for honoring his career, specifically as Green Bay Packer. He since unretired, played a year, retired, unretired and is playing for the Green Bay Packers main rival.

Stop being so ignorant. The more you proudly wear purple the more idiotic your posts are becoming. I'm not sure if I want you back as a Packers fan. I once thought you were fairly decent. I'm ready to label you as nothing more than a whinny piss ass troll who posts short comments to start shit.

PPO is waiting for you. Do not disappoint them.

Zero, I am pretty sure in the press conference after the Vikings/Packers game he referred to the "Packers QB" as Rodgers or Aaron a couple of times.

I could be mistaken though. I wonder if hte transcript of that interview is somewhere, I will try to find it.

Yes, I know he did. I made a point of saying that a few weeks ago after the game when I brought this up at that time.

That is not the point.

The point is, and this is nothing but an observation, why does he keep using generalizations towards the Packers? I don't recall him being like this prior to his first retirement. I could be wrong. Again, to anyone who's doing this, stop making this out to be more than it really is. I'm not saying he's doing it to slight the Packers.

I was trying to lead people into thinking more about it. That maybe he's using general terms because it helps distance himself from the Packers and players, etc ...

I think it's for the sake of his new team - it's a conscious effort to distance himself from the Packers and cement himself as a Viking. Whatever he was like w/ the Packers and Jets, it seems that he's very much interested in being a good locker room guy w/ the Vikings. And I think it's a smart move.
