Where I grew up, football was not the #1 sport. It wasn't even top 5. I really started following football in my mid-teens, around 1983. At the time I didn't really have a favorite team. I was just enjoying the games that I could get on TV. I started to understand the strategy more and more as time went on. Finally around the late 80's early 90's, I saw a Packer game with this young gun-slinger of a QB who played the game like a hockey player. Brett Favre made me love the game and the Packers. Then Reggie White came along. That guy was great. A gentle man off the field, and a warrior on it. I was hooked. The Packers were now my team. I have stayed with them through the ups and downs. I am really happy with the team on the field today.
