But if you want to present the whole picture, it was also 24-9 Packers going into the 4th quarter before Calvin Johnson took two slants all the way - an obvious weakness in the man coverage we were playing. I hope that type of play is more preventable in Capers' scheme, at least so that it doesn't happen twice in the space of about 3 minutes. Secondly, it was a division game, which are usually pretty unpredictable. And finally, Detroit always seems to come back against us when we play them in Detroit. I remember Mike McMahon charging the Lions back to the brink of victory on Thanksgiving about 7 years ago. Wins and losses are all that matter (right?) so they were one of the worst teams in NFL history last year, and have a nice long streak of suckitude going. They may be ok, but I'll be shocked if they pull together a winning season after '08, especially in this competitive division, with a rookie QB thrown into the fire.
