Javon Walker was the best WR Brett Favre has had, according to him. He said he was the first WR he's had where all he had to do was throw the ball his direction and hew KNEW Javon would bring it down.

Sharpe was a great talent..........but a big jerk, too.

I remember right after Sharpe retired and got into tv, he was a little anti packer. He's laid off that since but i heard some stories about him. What do you expect from a top talent receiver. Prima Donna. I heard he used to tell Favre to stfu and just throw him the ball, lol. I'm sure Favre deserved it at that age though.

I said it before and I'll say it again - had Sharpe not been injured, Favre would have retired a Packer with 3 rings instead of one and Sharpe would have threatened or broken half of Rice's records. He was that good.

Just imagine if he had stayed healthy and we had drafted Barry Sanders instead of Tony Mandarich. That would have been scary.

Wow. Imagining Barry Sanders as a Packer for 10 years - we'd have such a powerful O, plus Reggie White back there as our DE. Yeah, I can imagine dominating the 90s. It's too bad.

I don't believe that to be entirely true. There were a few times where it's been documented where Favre put Sharpe in his place. Specifically shortly after his first contract extension with the Packers.

My mancrush for Barry Sanders is well documented, but I don't believe we'd have made the Super Bowl if we had him. We would have had to spend a nice chunk of money on him which means we would have not gotten other players. Perhaps, Reggie White.
