I think the MVP is already decided to be totally honest. The media darling Tom Brady coming back and the Pats make the Super Bowl its a dead lock he is MVP regardless of stats. Just how it goes these days. Its all about the media and Brady has them wrapped around a finger. Just look at the Sports Illustrated cover after the Indy 500, it is usually reserved for the winner of the 500 but this year it was Brady in training camp.

So i don't see Rodgers having a chance.

You know the obsession and the media with Northeast teams. Just give Rodger's his Super Bowl ring and it will happen.

I also see pro bowl at 90% possibility.

I agree with dhazer on this if the Pats or Colts do well it's probably going to one of those two QBs....

the "awards" have becoming more and more jokes to me because it more and more like a popularity contest then what happens on the field...

So it takes
1) One popular player
2) A good team record
3) good stats

As of right now Rodgers has #3 but other teams are ahead of him....

But the biggest thing to me was one Bears' writers wrote that he though Rodgers was the bigger Pro Bowl Snub.... if the Bears fans are saying that something good about the Packers' is true it probably means it's true IMO.

I think what will benefit Rodgers from the 6-10 season more than anything is the desire not to see it happen again. If he's as focused and determined as I suspect he will be the rest will take care of itself.

I find it interesting that in his first year Rodgers had what anyone would consider an outstanding season and yet the rest of the team....most of whom were there in '07 when they went 13-3...really did not play as well.

I look at the fact the team was very young overall and did not come back last year with the same intensity or the fire in the belly they needed to was a lesson learned by them all. Like McCarthy says you have to learn how to handle success and they didn't come back out last year and do that.

Rodgers was not afforded the same luxury ending up with 6-10 and I look at that as a great year for him to learn from and build on vs. having to conjure the incentive or maybe misleading himself because the success came too early and too easy for him.

I like the whole team having a little something to prove and now probably preparing to do battle more like going into '07 than '08. We talk a lot about X's and 0's, schemes, coaches, talent, players strengths and weakness', but I think coming in with the right frame of mind and willingness to do what it takes is way underrated.

I tend to agree with Warhawk. I don't care if Rodgers throws 10TDs and 15 INTs or he throws for 45 TDs and 0 INTs...

I would like to see the Green Bay Packers win and keep on winning.

The fire in the belly example is a good one as I agree with it. Desire and effort win out over talent and lameness of effort.

Well I dont necessarily agree that the 6-10 season was good for him.

I mean we could give arguments on any game stats and say certain things about it.

IMO next year will be good if he does well; and really good if our whole team does well. If your team heads to the big game then ya he's going to look twice the champ as he will if he just has a great year like last year (stats).

and btw - I'm counting on us going to the big game.
