that was too scary. i know the drivers are blaming it on the restrictor plates, but I don't think getting rid of them is the answer. If this were a NASCAR forum i'd probably get flamed for saying this (and that may happen here too, lol), but what they need to do is restrict the carb even more. slowing those guys down just a little more would greatly help to make sure this doesn't happen again with a worst case scenario ending.

A few years ago they let Rusty Wallace try and run Talladega without a restrictor plate and he said he went into the 1st corner at around 220 and he shut it down because he could barely hang on. He figured they could do around 250 easy without the plate.

i was seated in the 4th row at talladega right around that area about 6 years ago & i can guarandamntee ya i'da pee pee'd in my panties for sure!!!
