If it was a performance enhancing drug, hell no.

I believe there are rumors of another positive test for Mary Jane.

Porky.. I agree most kids try it, but what kind of rocket scientist tries something or uses something 30 days or less from such an monumental event in ones life.. speaks to his character and lack of responsibility.

Now you going to hand this kid millions.. I wouldn't write the check out.

How this affects Raji's draft grade remains to be seen. He missed the 2007 college season with academic issues, returned to Boston College and had a terrific senior campaign, recording eight sacks and 42 tackles, with 16 tackles for loss. He was a dominant force during the week of practice at the Senior Bowl and continued his momentum up draft boards after turning in good combine and pro-day workouts. His performances the past three months have some scouts believing he'll be taken in the top third of the first round of the April 25 draft.

One source familiar with the positive drug test assessed Raji's draft prospects by saying, "It's a roll of the dice. If Raji stays clean and plays to his potential, you could have a dominant defensive lineman on your team. Then again, it does nobody any good if the kid is on the sidelines serving a suspension for a failed test."

It says the link doesn't work for me....anyway, this really pisses me off. I was extremely high on this kid.

We pretty much have no chance at getting Orakpo, Raji did drugs, and Andre Smith might not be there when we draft.

Who does that leave us? I'm not sure that I wouldn't draft Peria Jerry.....however Everette Brown will more than likely be there.

Who do we take? Brown or Jerry?

I am thinking I'm on the side of Jerry now, considering there is a good chance Larry English will be there for us in the 2nd round. Then again, Ron Brace could be there in the 2nd round as well if we pick Brown.

What do yall' think?

Oh yeah, we could trade back and probably get another 2nd rounder and like a mid-1st round pick for our 9th.

Orakpo, Raji, Smith, English, Jackson, Jerry, Jenkins, Brown, Maybin... Lots of choices.

I thought I remembered he tested positive once before for Mary Jane... red flag city.

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2009/4/2/819894/report-bj-raji-tested-positive-at

NFL scouts were notified that Raji tested positive for marijuana prior to the 2008 season at Boston College.

Could he grow up quickly and get past it, Kevin Williams of the Vikings tested positive before coming out... he seemed to straighten his act up. Well, other than that looming suspension hanging over him now.

This guy is off the draft board now.

I knew he was dumb because he could not play at all in 2007 due to academic reasons.

The combine has been testing guys for years. Yet every year there is somone stupid enough to show up with drugs in his system.

I bet he turns into a real bust at the NFL level. He only had one productive year in college football.

You don't really believe Venus and Serena were using diet pills for weight loss do you? I think there was a little gonge action going on there. In fact I'd venture to say that over half the NFL "bends" the drug rules continuously.

As far as B.J., I think he falls as far as the first team that badly needs a D-tackle. There were probably a few teams that regretted not taking Warren Sapp years ago for similar offenses.

PORKY

it isnt the fact it was pot, its the fact he did it before the biggest event in his life up to that point..

He had to know they would test him but he decided to buck the system anyways? To me shows that he is more worried about himself then what others want and expect of him

Now 93Z posted a link about him getting caught once before??

This kid is not BRIGHT

I would pass on him..But if they do nab him I will support the choice
