I've been saying that since before FA started this year, warhawk. and i've also said that if he doesn't use that money to lock up our own guys like jennings, collins, tramon, kampman, etc. I'm gonna be pissed. Having said that, I believe he will lock our guys up.

Lets not all jump to conclusions here. How many athletes sound like they are going to do the right thing and they do the oppisite. Thats all i got now I have to go on a vikings website to post on there. Oh no he didnt!!!!

Wow...reading that felt good.

Does Jennings really play for the NFL, where you will meet more crybabies than in an Early Childhood Center?

Does Jennings really play the position of Wide Receiver, where its mainly held for guys that are all about themselves?

Its like I am reading a dream. Jennings is an amazing person and player and as long as he continues to do what he does, I believe he will always be a Green Bay Packer.

I think, given Ted Thompson's solid history of resigning core players, anyone who even has the slightest doubt that Ted Thompson will sign such a pivotal player as Jennings to a multi-year is being a little silly.

Granted, except that Jennings has stated unequivocally that he wants to play for the Packers, preferably for the entirety of his career (kind of shoots the theory that no one wants to play for Ted Thompson all to hell, doesn't it?). He hasn't even hinted at dipping his toe in the free agent waters, so I don't understand what all the paranoia is about. We have a ton of money available; Thompson will sign him.

Unless, perhaps, Crabtree happens to fall into our lap later this month. 😉
