Nothing wrong with wide receivers. Part of the reason we went 4-12 a few years ago was because Antonio Chatman started for us.

Yes, but the problem is that we don't NEED any wide receivers now. Who said that there was a problem with wide receivers?

All's we're saying is that we should NOT spend a 2nd round pick on this WR that's not even top 20 in the nation.

If he's ready earlier (than training camp), it will be a bonus." Jenkins is also rehabbing from arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle.

Gholston has made me very gun-shy of the proverbial "looks like tarzan, plays like jane" outside rushers.

incidentally, did anyone read the comment that florio made about andre "plays like tarzan, looks like jane" smith? that was hilarious.

I think Gholston did that for a lot of people. In fact, if I were any of this year's 'tweeners' I'd be planning to visit him and see if he would like to pay the money I lost due to draft slot slippage based on his poor showing.

You guys act like we played all five of our wide receivers last year. For all practical purposes, James Jones and Ruvell Martin were non-entities last season. Had we experienced one more untimely knee injury in our receiving corps, our offensive production would have been decimated (hello, 2-14!).

We don't need another wide receiver? I beg to differ. I HOPE we get another colt in our stable!

Wasn't Gholston a rookie last season?

Even Mario Williams wasn't that great of as a rookie, and he's turned into a pretty damn good DE for Houston.
