Alan doesn't suck at singing!

Nice job Cheesey!

I just told my wife the "Cheesey story", and you now have yet another fan. This shit keeps up, you are going to be an international star, and it couldn't happen to a nicer man.

We will be wanting a portion of the residuals here at Packershome.com

Hmm... Let's see... A Star is Born!? Nah, that one's took.

How's about....

"BEHOLD! There is no stopping the power of Cheese" The movie.

lol dfoster!

I'll have to check out that video Mr. Cheesey. I'm no good at critiquing musical talent, as I have zero, but I'll definitely tell you how I enjoyed it. 🙂

Great interview cheesy!! And you shouldnt stop singing, do they have a competition again this year? If so go for it again. You have a better voice then some that actually have contracts today. You even look like a star up on that stage. 🙂

Thank you all for the great comments and encourgement!!!
I don't know if they are having the contest this year yet........but if they do, i'm going for it! Last year the winner got i believe $250 cash, a nice trophy, a recording session in a REAL studio, and got to sing the national anthem at a Milwaukee Brewers game. Plus to sing at some of the local places around here.
The local bank that backed it, was sold out to a bigger corporation. So i don't know if they will still be involved or not.
I have been singing as much as i can, as my lung capacity is REALLY bad right now. I have to get it to the point where i can sing and hold a note.
But i look at it this way.......it gives me something to shoot for.
I used Fan Fest as motivation to push myself to try to get in shape. And you know what? It worked! Yes.........I was as tired and sore as if i had run a marathon after i got home last night. But it hasn't stopped me from keeping on keeping on!
Just today, i walked for 30 minutes outside, and covered 1.3 miles. Now....I know thats not fast in "normal" conditions, but for a guy one month out of quadruple bypass, thats pretty darn good!
I want to be in great shape come summer time. And any little thing i can use as motivation helps!
The great people on here have done WONDERS to keep me motivated. Just knowing there are people that care if i live or die, that enjoy my "Cheesey" comments, makes me WANT to stick around here.
I'm sure i'll have many bad days, as is expected. But knowing there are prayers/thoughts going out for me, REALLY helps me!
Sorry for writting a book.......the thoughts just kind of pour out of me!

It is always great to learn a little more about what makes the "cheesemeister" tick.

You've had some serious trials and tribulations in your life, but you still persevere.
That sometimes comes with longevity, as you are getting a little "long-in-the-tooth"

Good read Alan, and the very best wishes my friend for your continued recovery.

Lastly, a little humor that you will appreciate...............

Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female Siberian Husky dog. The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time.

The males are speechless before her beauty, slobbering on themselves and hoping for just a glance from her crystal blue eyes in return. Aware of her charms and her obvious effect on the three suitors, she decides to be kind and tells them "The first one who can use the words "liver" and "cheese" together in an imaginative, intelligent sentence can go out with me."

The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up quickly and says "I love liver and cheese." "Oh, how childish," said the husky. "That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever." She turned to the tall, shiny Golden Retriever and said "How well can you do?" "Um.I HATE liver and cheese," blurts the Golden Retriever. "My, my," said the sibe. "I guess it's hopeless. That's just as dumb as the Lab's sentence."

She then turns to the last of the three dogs and says, "How about you, little guy?" The last of the three, tiny in stature but big in fame and finesse, is the Taco Bell Chihuahua. He gives her a smile, a sly wink, turns to the Golden Retriever and the Lab and says.....

"Liver alone. Cheese mine."

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
