I was thinking of getting tickets for the packers vs vikes next year at the dome, but i always hear stories about guys getting shoved into urinals and just getting a bunch of shit like that, are they really that bad?

If you are the type to go looking for trouble, yes, they are that bad.

If you avoid the opportunities to start jawing with the opposing fans, they're a blast.

And, in my experience, what begins with a little fun trash talking usually escalates really fast.

Yikes. I couldn't imagine. I wouldn't be able to contain myself in a hostile environment. I'd have to punch a purple gnome out XD

I actually love going to the dome. Do it every year and talk a lot of trash but in a fun way. Usually common sense is all that's needed

chicago is bad but you can't talk for all fans but there are drunks who just want to fight

my MOST hostile experience was in 2007. I was living in St. Paul and my dad's friend, who has season Vikings tickets, couldn't make it to the December 17 Monday Night game vs the Bears. He gave me his tickets, and my brother travelled down for the game. Of course, we had to get decked out head to toe in Packer gear, lest anyone think we're Bear OR Viking fans. I thought the The fans would focus on picking on one another, instead Viking and Bear fans decided to gang up on my brother and me. WOW! That got UGLY.

I've never been to a Packers vs NFC North game so it might be different, but I've been to several Tampa Games (former Division rival) and 3 out of 4 times i've had NO problems, Bucs fans are intense but we all had some good fun with our trash talk and player info exchanges, it was great!

When i saw Cincy play Tampa in pre season there were some really stuck up Bucs fans who apparently didn't appreciate us yelling for the Bengals so that got a little heated but no violence. Still losta fun :)

Like others said don't go looking for trouble and ya wont find any, as much as I hate our division rivals I still respect them, just have fun and enjoy!

The problem is that many of them don't respect you.

From someone I know at another forum. He's a Packers fan and he attended the Packers/Bears game in Chicago last year.

So we got in the stadium no problem, and it was all fine. I found it funny that the first bathroom my buddy and I walked into had all stalls (no urinals). They also had a tampon machine in there. We actually had to make sure we were in the guys bathroom. Hilarious!

In the game, Donald Driver and James Jones went down. When DD went down they were screaming "Get off the field A-Hole!" and other awful things. When JJ went down they were screaming "I hope they have to amputate his leg!" We turned around and could not believe what we were hearing and they wanted to fight. Unreal. There were a couple cool fans around us that said that this wasn't bad, when they played the saints when their stadium was gone because of Katrina they were holding up signs that said "Go back to your phailum trailers bums!" I could not believe my ears.

Another guy was telling me that AROD is too young to play. I said, "Dude, he is 25!" He didn't like that and immediately wanted to fight. He even pushed me. This one was not very educated obviously.

So we went out in the concessions at halftime. We were pushed around a little, which didn't bother me because it was expected. But then a guy came by us that was pretty built. He started pushing my buddy saying, "You know why your hat is yellow? Because I pissed on it!" We laughed at him and he didn't like that. He kept following us around and saying "Get the F*** out of our stadium! Over and over. He would not let it go. We went back to our seats and then came back down like 45 minutes later for a beer and he was waiting there. He seriously waited for us. LOSER! He waited behind us in line and when we got our beer he followed us to our seats. We got to our row and he turned back. I couldn't believe it.

In the bathroom my buddy was cornered by 7 Bear fans. They were sitting in there picking fights with all Packer fans that walked through. They stayed in there because it was warm (I imagine). I quickly grabbed my buddy and got him out of there because he was trying to defend the Packers. I looked at them and said, "Come on guys, we are all football fans, how about we get back to the game." But you know what, these guys weren't football fans. They were just losers and that is the sole reason they were there.

After the game was a walk of shame back to the hotel. They were even beating on our hotel windows while we waited for the elevator. It was pretty unbelievable.

The trip was awful. Worst stadium I have ever been to. I expected it to be bad. We held our own, but I am just shocked with the amount of classless fans just across my state border.

Another example of classy Bears fans:

Must be that time of the month, huh TJ.
On the bright side, you won't have to worry about getting into trouble at the urinals.....since you have to squat to pee.

Jacob, there are a few dickheads no matter where you go.
Cdnfavre+Rodgersfan has it pretty much nailed on his advice.

Zero2Cool (14h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (18h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (18h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (19h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (19h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (19h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (19h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (19h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (19h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (19h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (19h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (19h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (20h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (20h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (20h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (20h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (22h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (22h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (22h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
