Might be something to discuss.

There's a discussion about this in the General forum. I think there's not nearly enough evidence to overturn it. IMO it is a catch. But I will not bash anyone who thinks it's not. Because I thought so too until I saw better.

I don't think it really matters. It was so close that you can't really blame the ref for calling it a catch. I don't know what all angles the refs get for reviewing but from all of the ones that I saw during the game it didn't show enough to overturn the call anyways.

I'm sorry. I didn't check out the new posts. My fault.

LOL

118 time stamp is before the photo Trom posted

It shows the right foot's toes are on the ground THEN he starts to fall forward and then that is when the pic Trom posted happens

dirt ?? from right foot

UserPostedImage

57 sec mark is a second or so before Troms photo..Which to me clearly looks like the right toes are bent which means toes on ground.

But it does not matter...Kurt Warner blew this game he couldnt get them a score with 30 secs left

I know the pic i posted is the later end of the play, but im showing what the feet were doing.

Thanks for the 208X250 sized pic of squintyness. Show me something better(please, show me, I want to end this one way or the other)

Not that I care, but you do not see the ball in these pictures so he can have two feet down all he wants at this point. Where is the ball now?

At the time that Fransisco touches him, he seems to have possesion, so since he has his hands on Holmes at the point of the picture, it's a TD.

Not that it really matters anyway. It's happend, not enough evidence to overturn it and they shouldn't have given up a TD in that case anyway. Three guys around him and he can still make the catch before anyone can even force him out.

This seems to be more about Cardinals fans and supporters (at least for this game, like me) being in disbelieve that this could happen after getting the lead. Just giving up the TD so easily.

Anyone noticed that Fransisco was the guy being in the wrong position in both of the last two big plays, btw?

Shades of Nate Poole... let us rejoice in remembrance of that fateful catch that knocked our brothers from the west out of the playoffs.

Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.

beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
