I don't think it's just Dallas fans. I admit I was fully ready to stop being pissed at Randy Moss if we traded for him.

I second that. I really wanted Randy Moss on the Pack. Imagine Driver, Moss, Gregorious in '07. That may have pushed us into the SB. Keep in mind, Moss broke the record in '07 with 23 TDs. I didn't expect that Jerry Rice record to be broken so soon.

Now, I used to bad mouth Moss just like every other Packer fan but all of a sudden when the rumors started, I forgave his past. :cyclopsani:

and a league fine for the player, that our organization would have quietly reimbursed him for.

You say that as if it wouldn't be worth every nickel of the $50,000 fine. Even if it was triple that, perception that you are SOFT has a greater price.

I go back to the time of the Randy Moss fake moon. Flag or no flag, you LEVEL anyone who does that in YOUR HOME! When that happened, I agreed with everyone who ever said our defense was soft, because that proved we were soft. The thought of NOT smacking him to the turf still gets me peeved to this day. If you let others push you around an walk on you, they will continue to do. Just like the rest of the NFL, they seen that, they knew we wouldn't do squat about it so where's the respect?

At worst we would have gotten a 15 yard penalty on the kick off. Whoopie freaking doo!!

I was there that day... the crap fans were barking at Moss, I didn't take insult to his actions like I might have if I wasn't at the game.

One of the few times I have been ashamed of Packer fans.. racial and derogatory slurs are not needed at a game.

I don't care for alot Randy and his antics, but in that particular case there was a hell of a lot more to it than that.

"Zero2Cool" wrote:

I'm not mad or upset at Moss for his actions, not at all. If the team is going to let you embarrass them in every fashion, they deserve it. We had NO fight that day, we were softer than wet tissues off Owens eyes after crying about 'thats my qb'.

I'm upset at the Packers defense, not Moss for the incident.

But you're right. Maybe change this into a different topic or just get the thread back on topic?

On one side, I'd like to keep Wells here. He's the only draft pick, in my eyes, that has been playing pretty good so far. He's not great, but he's ok, some stability along the O-line, especially if our tackle(s) leave(s).

One the other hand, we could get a draft pick, which will maybe motivate Ted Thompson to trade for a real guard and we'll play Spitz at center, since, according to this part, he's been showing flashes of brilliance.

I mean just randomly somebody brings up Capers and the defensive hirings...haha.

I kind of like Wells, but he could stand to pack on some more pounds and get better at blocking.

No I am not saying that as if the it wouldn't be worth every nickel. I am in fact saying that it would be worth every nickel. and the organization would recognize that it needed to be done and they would take care of whatever fine the league handed down to the player.
