Zombie.. I knew someone would have to include more.. I like your thoughts.. even if I don't completely agree.

It probably will be highly unpopular on the board, but it is the reality as I see it.

Would I deal Greg Jennings... yes I would, if the right "left tackle" was offered, say a Joe Thomas type tackle.. I would pull the trigger this offseason. That or say Amobi Okoye or Mario Williams type on the defensive line.

Thank you! I was waiting for someone to say this. I couldn't agree more. I just wasn't sure how to say it, and you expressed my thoughts better than I could. +1

1. Ted Thompson-

I know he can not be traded, but the Packers as an organization can not let him get away. He is the most valuable asset this organization has.

2. Aaron Rogers

3. Greg Jennings

LOL I am a shit disturber.

My list would be far larger than three because I think there is something to be said for consistency and cohesiveness on a team, and I am extremely leery about the grass-is-greener syndrome.

But my top 3 would be Rodgers, Jenkins, and Jennings. I know people are talking about being willing to deal Jennings, but I just feel if we lost him it would take about 3/4 of a game to start talking about needing more weapons for Rodgers. Having "star" targets really affects the coverage schemes you face and helps out all other offensive skill players.

Woodson barely missed the list because he was the oldest of the 4.

FYI - Amobi Okoye has been awful. I realize you guys aren't masochists, therefore, don't voluntarily watch Texans games, but I'm in Houston so I'm stuck with them. Not to say he won't develop (he's still quite young), but to date, he has produced close to nothing.

To answer the question, as other have stated, nobody is untouchable for the right price. My three least touchable go like this:

1. Aaron Rodgers - In my mind he's untouchable that there is no ONE player in the league that I would trade him for. He's not the best QB and he's not the youngest QB, but I do think he is the best of the young QBs.

2. Greg Jennings - WR isn't the most important position, but there are very few (2 or 3) wideouts that I would trade Greg for straight up.

3. Tramon Williams - This is, admittedly, a stretch, but I couldn't think of anyone else that is really untouchable. If we were still in a 4-3, Kampy would be the choice, but I'm not sure he has a place now, so I'll go with the young, cost-controlled CB. He may not be a star, but he's shown he can be a solid CB for awhile in the league and that's tough to come by.

The one man in the Packers organization that is indispensable is Bill Miller. (Good name, too!)

His official title with the team is Plumber/Beverage systems technician. In short, he keeps the beer, urinals, and crappers flowing in Lambeau. You don't get rid of a man like that.

He's not the best QB

Not to drift too far afield here, but who do you think is the best QB at this juncture?

Only 3?
No can do.

Untouchables on O - Driver, Jennings, Aaron
On D - Kampy, Collins, Barnett, Jenkins, and of course Woody.

Don't be surprised to add Tramon Williams and Atari Bigby to that list too. Williams is an up and coming talent as is Bigby. With this new D and the way Bigby hits...

Also, do we really want to lose Rouse? He's another young up and coming stud.

Now explaining every single one I chose:
Driver - Leadership. The will to fight for every single yard. Intangibles. Pound for pound one tough person. NEVER gives up. He's the guy I want when things get ugly.

Aaron - Our franchise QB.

Jennings - Do I really need to say anything here?

Kampy - He does what it takes to win. Remember how people said "he has this problem" and the next year, he'd fix it? I specifically said that his faults are he can't rush the QB and the very next year, well, you know what happpened.

Collins - I was pissed at him in '07 for dropping INTs. '08, he hangs on to seven and leads the NFL with 3 returned for TDs. Had the DL not sucked, he would have won us some games.

Barnett - Loved the guy since he joined us in '03. Saw so much potential. Give him a better system and you will see production.

Jenkins - His injury is one of the big reasons we ended up 6-10 last year.

Woody - Do I really need to say anything here?

I like this list - both for your specific reasons and also for another, more universal reason: continuity. Unless I'm wildly mistaken, we're not in re-building mode (and for Thompson and McCarthy's sakes, I damn well hope I'm right about that), but with the roster turnover some folks advocate you'd sure think we were.

There are many good-to-great pieces on this team, and also some very important leaders and good people. Guys like Driver, Woodson and Kampy are the heart of this team and its leaders. We need to keep them around.

And I'm still skeptical of all the claims that X Player can't play in a 3-4 scheme. I'll wait to see that for myself.

Yes, there would be a hole, but again, it would have to be a pretty sweet deal to move him.

I just happen to think Blue Chip line players are harder to obtain than Blue Chip Receivers. And that the impact they have upon the game is far different.. you have a sieve at left tackle it matters not how good your QB and receivers are.

Well Z this was pretty easy until Dfoster brought up Mr Miller so i will go with him. Everyone else on this team is open for trade. Yes very player is available for a price. As far as Jennings many people forget how many times we think we have a great wr through the years and something happens and we somehow just reload (Sharp, Brooks, Freeman, Walker, Driver and now Jennings). But damn man you need to keep the beer flowing and the pissers working or there would be riots in green bay lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

That's what I heard - Kampy can't play in 3-4. I guarantee you Kampy will do what it takes to be awesome in 3-4, and he will be awesome in it. The same was said about Barnett. Barnett will do what it takes. The guy's a competitor.
