With the Jets hiring Rex Ryan what does this mean for Brett. I think this will be it for Brett seeing Ryan believes in Defense and a qb to just manage the game and don't turn it over. Do they release Brett and he comes back to the NFC north?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

If Brett does retire (I thought he was going to until Mangini was fired and now with Kurt Warner being in the Super Bowl I think Brett is wanting to prove he can do that too) don't the Packers forfeit their 6th round pick to the Jets? I read somewhere that was the case. Anyone got any info on that?

7th. If Brett retires after one season.. per the contract we have to supply a 7th round pick.. I believe in next years draft.

We all know we won't be sure if Brett will be playing by draft day.

Okay so to be clear, if Brett retires, we give our 7th rounder to the Jets, this year?

See my edited version.. I figured I better answer it will more than a simple "7th".

Nice pick-up for the Jets and their defense. I don't think Ryan is the type to put up with Favre's "Me First" antics either.
