I'm not sure if anyone else follows Andy Herman's grades, but he had positive grades for Caleb Jones and Luke Tenuta. It's a small sample size, but Tenuta has good grades from PFF for the '23 and '24 preseason (low 70s), it sure would be nice if one of these guys can be an above-average backup.
Disappointing to see Monk with a poor grade in this game after seemingly looking okay in the first game, but he's a rookie so it's not surprising to see him struggle a bit.
No surprise to see that Newman still sucks. I remember some guy on this site who claimed to be best friends with Packer's front office people telling me Newman was gonna be a great player and there was no way that the Packer's rookie that year would take his job. I was wrong because I said it would be Sean Rhyan, it was Zack Tom. Sean Rhyan is better than Newman too, of course. Newman is likely fighting for that #8 or 9 spot, hopefully, that goes to a developmental player with more upside though.
Anyway, I wouldn't read too much into this game, it's hard for players to look good when it's 1s vs 2s and 2s vs 3s.
