Pretty interesting that people were calling for Barry's head but as of this week they now have the 9th-ranked scoring defense and with the remaining schedule I can see them ending up with a top 5 scoring defense. We have the Giants and Panthers who are 29th and 31st-ranked offenses, and the Bears are in the bottom 10.

And this is all being done with Ballentine and Valentine at CB lol.

So do you still want him gone?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Robert Saleh after the Jets fire him. It would be awesome if it was after this season, but that's kinda wishful thinking.

On the down side, they're 30th in run yardage defense. And I think 18th in all yardage.

I still think they should upgrade their DL.

Barry stays. His contract is over so I see him getting another 3 year deal. He may not last the whole contract.

Ultimately my problem with Barry's defense as a whole boils down to:
1. Bad tackling
2. Soft run D
3. Wide open completed passes

Case in point on Sunday night. Pacheco just dragging guys on runs and Kelce getting the ball with no one else on screen. Both seem to happen routinely.

Just makes you wonder what the defense would be like if they were healthy. In the end I think all this playing time for these guys is going to be an advantage for us. But then again i would still love Leonard in play next year with his aggressive style defense.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
