David Bakhtiari's nearly three-year recovery from his torn left ACL took another turn when the Green Bay Packers placed their All-Pro left tackle on injured reserve.

I guess Bach didn't "punk out" as you so elegantly posted in another thread.

Hope is they finally get his knee right.
So they can actually trade him next year, and get out from under at least half of the 40mil The Packers pushed into the future.

No team is trading for David Bahktiari. Unless the Packers offer him and a draft pick for nothing in return. Sadly, there is no trade market for 32-year-old tackles with huge cap hits who have had as many surgeries as they have games played in the last three years.

The options are to keep him (probably with a restructure), release him, or he could retire.

Packers health department is said to usually be more strict than other teams, and didn't the Packers add the U.S. knee specialist to their team and bring him back to Wisconsin? Or was that a different body part?

Point being, he passed the Packers physical, which supposedly is tougher to get tby their medical people than some other teams.
