I guess it boils down to who is better at their position, Myers at C or Nijman at RT? To that I say Nijman.

There is a reason Nijman keeps getting benched, and either the OC or OL coach, when asked about Nijman, sometimes guys rise to the challenge, sometimes they don't.
Heck, it looked like OT Walker MIGHT have passed OT Nijman on the depth chart to become OT3.
I would actually buy into this argument more if you used Walker, as he's the unknown, where Nijman keeps getting benched. They keep trying to find someone to bench Myers but can't.
And OT are much more valuable than Center, and Tom is athletic enough to stay at OT, so why make a hole
In a more humorous note, they did have Jenkins play at C when Linsley went out in 2020 and Bahk promptly had some false start penalties from not being used to his timing.

I've been wondering why they haven't tried Jenkins at Center at all in training camp. I thought he would be the backup Center before Runyan but Runyan is the one listed as backup.
Anybody got Jake Hanson's number? I KID I KID! (or do I?)

But to be honest, this preseason, I thought Hanson might of been outplaying Newman and Rhyan before his injury. I wasn't sure if that was because Center might be a tad easier than OG, or if he was actually clearly improved and might be able to beat them. But he got released due to injury, so I assume he got an injury release which pays him for x amount of weeks, after which the 31 other teams can sign him, and the Packers have to wait 6 more weeks on top of that. But I actually wouldn't mind resigning Hanson, at least to the PS.
Gute did say in the offseason the Packers scouting determined in the 2022 pre-draft process that ZT's best position is at C .

They don't have the height people prefer, but they can pass block with the best of OTs. So they should play the more valuable position, which is OT.
I'll be shocked if he lasts the whole game this Sunday. If he's still starting by the time Halloween rolls around, then I'm gonna petition to change his first name to Michael because like the movie character we can't seem to get rid of him.

Let the best players play. Unless Walker is ready, then Meyers is clearly in the Packers top 5 OL right now.
Ah, but is RT the best position for ZT? Everything I've gathered about ZT is that he could be a good RT, he could be an elite C. So I'll admit that colors my thinking quite a bit.
