Pretty good writeup. From my POV (despite Mark Murphys attempts to thwart me)
-Love started slow but got into a rhythm. As the article noted, there were rarely defenders on the receiver save for the last TD. Love keeps finding the open guy. Just gotta clean up a little bit and get better on his timing with guys in real game time.
-Carlson looked real good kicking the ball. Showed tons of leg strength.
-Brooks continues to impress. Need to start giving him some reps vs the #1s and see what he's got.
-Need to pull the plug on Myers at C and get ZT in there ASAP. If they're gonna salvage Myers they need to start putting him at G.
-I've seen the future at TE in Green Bay and it's Musgrave and Kraft. Musgraves speed+size is for real and he's a legitimate weapon. If he can stay healthy, then by year 3 there's no reason he shouldn't be hitting 800 yards+8-10 TDs other than sharing targets. He's way too fast for LBs and too big for DBs. Only athletic freak LBs like Quay and taller DBs with some length will be able to cover him.
"But Mucky! What about blocking?!" Well that's where Kraft comes in. He showed legit blocking/pass catching ability tonight. Similar to Musgrave, if Kraft puts the work in and stays healthy, there's no reason he can't be a top blocking+pass catching TE. This team could have the best TE room in the league in a few years.
