Well, they were a lot of tight ends, drafted at 13 that are in the Hall of Fame or or pro bowlers, according to this list.

This would be more meaningful if 2023 was considered a deep class with a lot of first round talent. From what I've heard there are only 8-10 players of that ilk. Of course the people that "know" this stuff can be wrong. I can be wrong for repeating it.

Perhaps the weak class proves the point. Some teams grab QBs forcing better quality players to slide to 13 but not to 15. We shall see tomorrow.
