I'm gonna punt out a bunch of options. Some are absurdly unlikely.

Option A → Aaron Rodgers traded to Jets.
Option B → Aaron Rodgers retires and does not unretire.
Option C → Aaron Rodgers stays with Packers and retires after 2023 season and another one and done playoff exit.
Option D → Aaron Rodgers stays with Packers and wants to mentor starter Jordan Love and then retires after 2023 season.
Option E → Aaron Rodgers retires only to unretire post-June 1st and then requests Packers to trade him.

I was leaning towards B as this played out longer and longer. If it's true that Rodgers is talking to guys and getting them to join Jets, I have to say A is the (duh) option.

The one that really interests me is D. Rodgers has talked about how it's important to help the younger generation. This would be the ultimate step in doing just that and also stark contrast to what Favre did "for" him. Massively unlikely a super competitive person would ever do this -- but the thought (fairytale as it may be) is pretty intriguing. The headlines would be freaking incredibly entertaining.

E is something I could see happening as 3rd likely. He would be retired throughout OTA's and minicamp. And not that he'd give a damn, but I believe it might help the Packers salary wise too.

I could actually make an argument for each option. And each one of them being done so on amicable terms.

I have been in the "C" camp for a long time. The way everything is dragging out I moved to the "A" camp. There are financial benefits to making the trade after March 15. Add to that I don't see the Jets looking at other QBs. If they didn't know something they would have packed up and moved on.

True, but what a way to go out...get all your guys great deals without screwing over your current team, then just walk away...

I know, its unlikely...but what an exit

I'm seeing rumors on twitter that Rodgers met with the Patriots in Colorado Springs today. Not sure if this is credible.

I would rather see him go to the Patriots than the Jets. It would be neat to see him win a Super Bowl with Belichick.

Though it would be funny if the Packers threaten to give the Patriots permission just to speed it up lol

But here is picture proof 😋 jk

Note: Someone in the comments (if you can believe them) say they're in that area, and the mountains in the background have been covered in snow for a while, suggesting the picture isn't actually recent.

And my favorite is someone said, False, Bill Belichick doesn't get on a plane for no one lol

But sounded like Patriots have some cap space, and could use some WRs and other weapons that Rodgers is bringing along.

As to the snow, I live in Denver and it was 65 today. There's snow on the peaks of the Rockies, which you can't see from this photo. Those are the nearby foothills. Colorado Springs is an hour south of us and generally warmer with less snow. We haven't had much snow in the last month so the majority of it has melted by now. We tend to get a decent amount of snow, but we go through cycles where it warms up for a few days and melts. We have a 2sq foot patch of snow in the back yard that never gets any sun, but that's it. I can see snow on the mountain peaks from my front yard though.

Here's a photo I took in Colorado Springs (Garden of the Gods) in Janurary. We had a lot more snow then. Pikes Peak has snow on it much of the year but isn't visible in shot at the airport.

One thing that people may not realize about living in the front range is that if you're close to the foothills, you can't see the peaks of the Rockies very well (or at all). In Denver the further west you live (out into Lakewood and Golden), the worse the views get. Until you get far enough west that you're above the foothills and get some good views again. Co Springs is closer to the foothills than Denver, though Pikes Peak is massive and looms over the city with views from almost anywhere you happen to be.

Not that any of this proves the photo is real, it could have been taken 10 years ago for all I know. Anyway, it's gonna be 68 tomorrow - good weather for doing some yard work. Thursday it will be 34 with snow - typically Denver weather patterns.

I would love it if he went to New England. And the comparisons of what Brady did there versus what Rodgers will do there would be absolutely fascinating.

Zero2Cool (21m) : Any reason I'm catching a shot here about my intelligence?
Martha Careful (22h) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me
Martha Careful (22h) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
