The announcers for the last Packers game, Joe Davis and Greg Olsen. I liked them. They limited the hyperbole and seemed to enjoy the game without pushing the needle one way or another. I kind of hope they get more Packers games. I know, I know, it's not in-vogue to praise announcers, but oh well.

I liked them. Olsen brought a good mix of route-running and blocking knowledge - a nice counterbalance to all of the QB announcers.

I don't mind them if they are not calling a bares game. Olson was kissing Field's butt the whole game or at least the first half. No matter how bad Fields played, Olson was telling us it was amazing.
*Fields throws the ball 10 feet over the receiver's head.* Olson, "I like that throw. It doesn't matter that the receiver couldn't catch it. One first down that's what I want to see."
*Fields throws an interception* Olson, "That was a great play. It's about the same as a punt." Yeah I know everyone thought it was off sides but that's not what Olson talked about first.
Fields tries to call a timeout after the clock wound down to "0". Olson went on a rant about the official ignoring the timeout attempt, waited until the time ran out and THEN threw a delay of game flag. Not once did they cue the footage to show the clock at "0". I saw it on a wide screen angle on my computer when I replayed it but it was hard to get a clear picture on the exact frame by frame but from what I saw it looked like time ran out before Fields turned his head and signaled to the official.

There were others but that's enough of that. The next week he was better.
