How many times is Matt LaFleur going to talk about it starts with him and he needs to do better before we actually see him not repeating the same mistakes? LaFleur seems to talk about how he has to do better every week in play calling and time management aspects. Dude, freaking just do it better! Whatever better is, just do it!

I like LaFleur, just tired of hearing him talking about how it starts with him and he has to do better. I'm just a lowly fan and I'm tuning him out. At some point, the players are going to tune him out.

Most recent example is he acknowledges he got too conservative. WTF happened to mister all gas no brakes and waking up with your piss hot?

Just coach-speak. I rarely believe them when they tell the fans/media "this is what we are going to do". Because they almost never do it.

LaFleur does seem a bit off his game so far this year.
Last Tuesday night my wife and I were watching Packers Live with McArren and LaFleur and I mentioned to my wife that LaFleur didn't seem like the same guy that we have watched on that program for the last couple of years.
He seemed depressed or at least ill.
I can't help but wonder if something is bothering him that is affecting his coaching.
He definitely does need to step up his coaching.

I'd say for the first six quarters of the season, they were trying to force the deep ball and not playing Wide zone, but in recent weeks they mostly have.

This was a road game against recent AFC champions. Essentially a rookie QB in his first start.

I mean yeah, get ST cleaned up. Tighten up man, playoffs are coming.

Yup. This game gave alot of evidence that, when Jones and Dillon are moving the ball well, those boneheaded 3 and out pass plays are from LaFleur. Very disappointing. I really thought that many of those odd, empty backfield, pass plays were audibles by Rodgers so I own him an apology.

My alternative press conference would promise a serious review of the wonderlic scores of the personnel we opt to trot onto the field and adjust our play don't play decisions accordingly. Maybe it's time to worry more about the intellect of our players contrasted with their 40 time.
Some seriously stupid shit goes on with this team on a recurring basis, masked to an impressive degree by one seriously smart qb that did some stupid shit as well.
