Rumors are getting big time stupid now.

The @49ers have offered the @Packers the 3rd overall pick in this year's draft, plus other picks and a number of players from their current roster including Garoppolo for Aaron Rodgers. The Packers turned them down. First reported by @PAOnTheMic and confirmed by others.

If they honestly wanted Rodgers, they would have to offer the entire team, all first round picks for the next 20 years, 300 million dollars, the Golden Gate Bridge, and a lifetime supply of Rice-a-Roni, the “San Francisco treat!”😂

IF they also threw in Nick Bosa and Brandon Aiyuk along with another 1st rounder and two 2nd rounders. Who's knocking that for the Packers? At 3rd overall, you can trade back and get a second 1st rounder. Who knows, maybe Dolphins go crazy and offer up 6th and 18th for the 3rd overall pick and 5th rounder? I think Packers could get two good guys at 6th and 18th.

Yes, I took this stupid rumor and ran with it. Hey, I could have threw a Mock Draft version 4,029 at you instead!

It's most likely not even true. Even Bob says it's a no.

That's one of the stupidity rumors I've seen, I can't believe someone reported it as fact (read somewhere that a Vikings announcer person started it as he's heard it from source).

But if the 49ers were going to offer that, they would of made the offer BEFORE they traded up for the #3 overall, as they traded three 1st round picks for the #3 overall...

There you have it folks.

Here is more details from Paul Allen. Take note, he's the announcer for the Minnesota Vikings. Yes, those Vikings.

Paul Allen says it was potentially four other picks, two of which for next year. You can really tell Paul Allen was trying to walk it back as speculation meanwhile the other guy was trying to make it sound like it was concrete and official offer. I sometimes despise the hyperbolic sensationalistic world we have.

Take it for what it's worth. Sounds like there indeed was an offer from the 49ers.

@ProFootballTalk - From unimpeachable source: As of last night, Aaron Rodgers’ wish list was 49ers, Broncos, Raiders (not necessarily in that order). He wanted Packers to take the 49ers’ offer. Next move by Rodgers is TBD.
