I could probably stick this comment into an existing post but Zero gives extra points for starting new threads. 😉 (not really)

What do you expect Gute to do in the first round?

Personally I think he will trade back and pick up more selections. Then he will put together a package to move up into the top 10-12 picks of the second round.

So far Gute has traded up in every 1st round he's been GM for and has traded four of his five 4th rounders away.

I'm thinking he trades both 4th rounders like he did I'm the trade up for Savage... and he's looking for CBs first... WRs second. If there were more DTa worth a trade up I might suggest that, but doesn't appear to be many of any.

Note: The Alexander year was a trade back, followed by a trade up, so net a trade back, but there was still a trade up.

I don't think packaging both 4th round picks will be enough.
According to the chart on drafttek they are worth 38 and 35 points. At 29 GB's pick is worth 640. That means they can move up to Jacksonville at 25. More or less.

Melifonwu is at least a 2nd rounder to me. Guy's a beast that made another highly touted future pro in Dyami Brown quit.

Anyway, depending on how the board falls, if Bateman, Toney, Farley, Moehrig, or Newsome aren't there at 29, I trade back.

I say we sit in our spot and we get lucky and Elijah Moore falls to us and we get the much needed slot and gimmick guy. Thats just my guess and I am also predicting the top 10 picks

Lawrence
Wilson
Jones
Pitts
Chase
Smith
Parsons
Horn
Sewell
Surtain II

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Also, the defense seriously needs help, though if we stay at 29th, OT, WR and Edge look deep in that part of the draft.

Though Gute will probably make a trade out of 29... I'm guessing up.

dfosterf (2m) : 39 companies so far that I bet no one has ever heard of.
dfosterf (4m) : -Not saying woke, but should- borderline philanthopist venture capital excercise
dfosterf (6m) : Well for one, they are pouring resources into Title Town Tech. Investing beer, brat, hot dog, ticket money into what is pretty much...
beast (6h) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
