NFL to relax on who can wear single-digits

Reportedly, the NFL is going to allow anyone except OL and DL to wear single-digit numbers. Tom Brady thinks it is going to make for some bad football, based on what he posted on the Instagram.

I'm not sure this is going to be a big deal. I'm guessing the NFL is doing this primarily to increase jersey sales. After a few games, I would think whomever is blitzing and not blitzing won't really matter at all in regards to their jersey number.

Why would a jersey number be a big deal?
If you are going up against a team, you tell me a player wouldn’t know who to block because of a number a guy is wearing?
To me, Brady is being a idiot.
