I don't think Browns beat Steelers, so looks like it was half and half.

Regardless, the early game opponent gets a free view of most of the second game.

Yeah, that was not the game I was expecting. Basically, the 7th seeds were useless and each other game the lower seed won. Wild Card weekend seems to always be littered with lower seeds winning more games.

Things can be unfair, such as Ravens win a road game on Sunday, now they have a road game on Saturday, so now only do they have two travel days, but they also get less than 7 days.

Assuming the Packers win, then they got the advantage of a less travel day and an extra day of rest over whomever their opponent is next week, as they play more than 24 hours sooner.

It creates extra advantages and disadvantages by when a team plays, and it seems partly at random, which team gets this advantage or disadvantage in any given year.

The overall difference in the 6th seed and the 1st seed is razor thin. The so called upsets this weekend show that. The extra day may or may not make the difference in a game.
Especially as Beast points out when the team that plays on Sunday has to travel.
