2019 NFL Playoffs - Wild Card.
NFC 5 beat 4, 6 beat 3.
AFC 4 beat 5, 6 beat 3.

Seems like Wild Card weekend is generous to the visiting team. Something to consider when looking at who Packers might play next.

First off, any idea what day the Packers will play their game?

Secondly, lots of people complained that it's unfair that Washington is in the playoffs and it's unfair... first off, they're the best team of the teams that played those division schedule that the entire division played. But really isn't fair as the NFC West and AFC North both almost got 3 teams in each by beating up on that horrible division.

But it's not about fairness, as noted that playoff teams (and I think this has happened to the Packers a number of times), have had to play on Sunday, then go on the road for a team that played on Saturday.

If the NFL was really fair, it'd be all the same conference on one day to give them the same amount of rest, in between playoff games.

It would be slightly unfair for the Super Bowl, as one conference would get an extra day of rest, but they both get at least 14 days before that...

Anyways, I always hated when the Packers had to play on Sunday, then play on Saturday for a short week, or were playing a team that got an extra day rest as they played on Saturday.

I’m kind of glad it isn’t Tampa that we’ll be facing next week.
I think it will end up NO vs. TB
And the Rams vs. Packers

A lot will depend on how banged up the Rams are. Goff with his bad thumb, if Kupp and Donald can play. If Donald is out, that would be big for our offense.

I would guess they would be the late Sunday game, which is what they view as the highest ratings slot

All AFC games on the same day. NFC the other. Next year, flip the days.

thanks....when did that start? It didn't used to be that way.

Regardless, the early game opponent gets a free view of most of the second game.

I don't think Browns beat Steelers, so looks like it was half and half.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
