Wow. Despite getting Tunsil AAV of $22 mil a year, I thought something around $20 mil would be more than generous.

And yeah a bit of, he's the best at his position, and desperation, as the Packers lack OT talent. Yes we got Turner, Jenkins and Wagner, but can any of them hold up one on one against a better pass rusher?

And it's relatively easy to help one OT with chip blocks from TEs and RBs, but once you have to help both OTs, it's a lot tougher.

No of them can on a consistent basis. The thing is the OL has to win the battle every time. As soon as they don't and they give up a sack or a hit, they are considered to be bad players.

If a team needs to have an extra player help the OT on a regular basis they need to get a different OT. It's ok for a few plays every once in a while but not for half of them.

I know what you are saying Yoop but fans have been complaining about how much money players make forever. Every time you turn around someone gets a bigger deal. More outrage and the cycle just keeps on repeating itself. Based on AAV Aaron is only the 5th highest paid player (tied with Jared Goff). Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz make almost as much as Aaron yet when he signed his contract back in the day it was a shocking amount of money.

Back in those days much tougher football players played for peanuts and had to have off field jobs bar tending, selling beer and cigarettes and such to make ends meet.
I loved those days!
The modern NFL is a bunch of pansies playing for hundreds of thousands per game and have to sit out with a hangnail.
This whole money thing really pisses me off!

Sorry, end of rant🤬

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
Zero2Cool (27-Jan) : Packers coach Matt LaFleur hires Luke Getsy as senior assistant, extends Rich Bisaccia's deal

TheKanataThrilla (26-Jan) : Exactly buck...Washington came up with the ball. It is just a shitty coincidence one week later
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
