I would LOVE to get to know those that seem to hate me. Truth is, if they actually took the time to get to know me, maybe they wouldn’t hate me so much.
I say what I believe and why, but all I get in return is called awful names. They don’t say why they don’t agree with me, they just blast me.
So how can you truly get to know someone, when they just blast you?
Kind of hard to do.

What I dislike about Facebook, Twitter, etc is no one is interested in conversing. They are interested in how many Like's they can get or how much attention they can get or saying some kind of "gotcha" comment. It's a platform that proliferates listening to reply, rather than listening to understand.

That’s so true Zero. It’s a “look at me! Look at me!” With those web things.
That’s why I’m not a member of any of them.
It is truly hard to make any point or even know what someone means and why when it’s just words on a screen. Face to face it’s not so easy to call someone nasty names or treat them with no respect. If you have any class, that is....which you do.
