he's not a free agent until after next season, so i don't know if other teams will "drive up the price" on him. unless you mean that he's waiting for other FA WR's to sign and use those contracts as leverage/jumping off point in his (Jennings) negotiations.

Add to that fact that Ted is becoming a bit like Millen in drafting a WR early each draft.. would he dare draft another one with this strong receiving group coming out this year.
Jennings seems like a team first guy, so I think his intentions might be truly noble.. and he didn't want to distraction of signing a contract mid year.. but today's athlete has me jaded..
I think back to Walker's days early, his charity work and carried himself with a sort of class... until the dollars got involved.. light switch flipped..
Just saying.. Jennings doesn't seem that way other than his NFLN appearances where he seems a little more "cocky" in a way.
