Maybe being with a great QB like Rodgers will step up his game.
You have to keep in mind the QBs he played with.
Maybe the Packer brass see something in this guy that intrigues them.
Low cost move with possible dividends.
I like this kind of move.
And just because he signed doesn’t mean he’ll make the final 53.
The more guys you can look at, the better your chance is at finding a hidden gem.

He certainly can’t be any worse than Allison, MVS, or Kumerow. Instant upgrade simply because our receiving group sucks.

Funchess is a guy I wanted when he came out of Michigan.
I was looking at him as a tight end at that time.
Going to be interesting to see how he pans out.

He will be fine. He's a solid #2 receiver. For the most part he's an average player that has a few games where he is above average. GB wasn't looking for a DAdams player. They were looking for someone who can step up and be the 2nd option. If MVS, Kumerow or Lazard is able to take the step to a consistent #2 and bumps Funchess down to the WR3 I don't have a problem with that either. GB will be drafting a WR or two and the rookie could be in the mix as well. That too is good news.

Well after doing a little reading about him I wonder if they will use him at TE. The book on him is that he is really good in the slot because of mismatches but not very good on the outside. He caught all 55 targets from the slot but had 23 drops from the outside. So I would take a wild guess and see him in the slot or TE alot. SO we still need that #2 unless Lazard is going to be our deep threat.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Zero2Cool (13h) : oops meant $10m cap hit
Zero2Cool (13h) : And pre june is $10m savings
Zero2Cool (13h) : Can't make him play.

Zero2Cool (14h) : Joey Bosa signed with Bills?
dfosterf (14h) : What they are offering is a left over case of Leinies from the Chippewa Falls plant

Zero2Cool (14h) : they give us those five, or even first four, they can have Jaire.

Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Eric Stokes signs with Raiders
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Tyler Linderbaum C
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Cap space?
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Do Ravens have anything we'd even entertain to have?
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : I've seen trade ideas of Jaire going to the Ravens all offseason
beast (11-Mar) : A probably false rumor is suggesting CB Jaire Alexander is being traded to the Ravens, again probably false
beast (11-Mar) : Commanders might have a dominant offense the next 3 years at least
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : San Francisco 49ers announced they have released DL Leonard Floyd.
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Er getting traded twice like that
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Huh, LT Laremy Tunsil traded from Houston to Washington. Never heard of a top OT getting traded in his career like that
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. is returning on a three-year, $66 million deal
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Damn
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Saints are re-signing DE Chase Young to a three-year, $51 million deal worth up to $57 million.
